Happy February friends! Is it just me or did January fly by? All that means to me is we are one month closer to summer…
Now that it is a new month, and you all know I’m running Reach the Beach for the Alzheimer’s Association, I’d like to present to you a little challenge.
Janine, our team captain, came up with the brilliant idea that is now going to be known as #5050February!
Here’s the deets (shamelessly stolen from Janine’s blog word for word because it was just easier…and I’m lazy…)

Once you’ve donated, sign up for the challenge HERE. Your email address will be used to validate your donation, so be sure to include it in the spreadsheet!
During the month of February, get moving - run, walk, elliptical and snowshoe miles count. Bike/spin/swim miles do not.
Log your miles in the spreadsheet.
At the end of the month, if you fall in the top 25% of all participants based on mileage, you’ll be entered into the 50/50 raffle – and eligible to win half of the total pool of entry fees!
That’s right – the more miles you log, the more likely you are to be in the top 25% of participants – AND you’re helping raise critical funds for the care and prevention of Alzheimer’s disease.
So, what do you say guys? You have a chance to win a whole bunch of cash while also helping out a great cause and having motivation to get moving in the middle of winter!!!!
